Description

This course is designed for all members, particularly those committed to addressing bias around sexual orientation and gender identity (LGBTQ). This program teaches school personnel how to create a safe climate for students and staff. 

Objectives

  • Become familiar with the terminology used to describe LGBTQ students.
  • Practice strategies to address bullying and harassment of LGBTQ students.
  • Create an action plan on how to be an ally to LGBTQ students.

Great resources online and from participants. The time on the zooms wasn't always well managed. It was hard to get tech support when it was needed
