This course is designed for all members, particularly those committed to addressing bias around sexual orientation and gender identity (LGBTQ). This program teaches school personnel how to create a safe climate for students and staff.
Objectives
- Become familiar with the terminology used to describe LGBTQ students.
- Practice strategies to address bullying and harassment of LGBTQ students.
- Create an action plan on how to be an ally to LGBTQ students.
