Thank you for offering this course. I was reminded why I got into my field, and this helped me with resources I can use immediately.

Our coach was so understanding and flexible to listen and answer all questions. It made me reflect and do some deep thinking in my personal and professional practice. I would recommend this course for sure!

SEL course on Social Awareness was an eye opener for me. I have been an educator for over 25 years and I learned so much in the last 5 weeks. One of the biggest aha moments is that many people say they accept diversity. When I analyzed different people in different positions at school, I realized not many people accept diversity 100%. Another word that I was unaware of was Equity Literacy. I won't spoil it by giving you the meaning. You have to take the course! Lastly, I learned about the many "isms" that exist and how I was fell into one of those categories as a teenager. Overall, the Social Awareness module was a great eye opener. I believe these are professional development sessions that should be required of all teachers. How can we rebuild schools and achieving students when the educators are not on the same page?
