Description

This course presents culturally relevant pedagogy as a teaching method to leverage learners’ cultural knowledge, backgrounds, and experiences. By doing so, the learning process becomes more meaningful and suitable, thereby enhancing student achievement.

Objectives

In this course, you will:

  2. How to build strong relationships with your multilingual students and their families.
  3. How to implement culturally relevant practices into your professional setting. 
  4. How to support your multilingual learners with scaffolded lessons.
  5. How to consider the social emotional impacts of being a multilingual learner.
