I would have liked some more examples of each of the levels to better judge what level I am on
This course was excellent and thoughtfully structured. The competency framework provided both clarity and challenge, allowing for meaningful self-reflection across governance, relational leadership, and strategic development domains. I appreciated how the assessment differentiated between foundational understanding and agenda-driving leadership, which helped illuminate not only strengths but also concrete growth areas. The framework encourages disciplined thinking about strategy, fiscal literacy, and institutional durability rather than simply focusing on individual leadership style.
The self-assessment process was particularly valuable because it moved beyond abstract reflection and required alignment with specific behaviors and competencies. I also appreciated the emphasis on culturally relevant leadership and the recognition that effective governance requires both relational intelligence and structural awareness.
This course has provided clear developmental roadmap and practical language for continued leadership growth. It strengthened my own understanding of where I currently operate within mobilizing and power-building and what is required to move into agenda-driving leadership.
