This course will focus on your need as an educator to teach academic language and content. Teachers must ensure multilingual learners can access grade-level and challenging content within a standards-based framework. They must also implement strategies that help multilingual learners access the content.

In this course, you will:
- Implications of standards-based curriculum on learning and achievement for multilingual learners.
- State-based language development outcomes.
- How to analyze the academic language demands of standards-based lessons.
- Strategies to support the use of learning standards-based curriculum with multilingual learners.
