Foundations and Applications for AI
This course explores the foundational concepts of artificial intelligence (AI) and its growing impact on education. Designed for educators across roles and grade levels, the course comprehensively introduces AI technologies and their potential applications in teaching, learning, and school operations.
Participants will examine how AI tools—such as generative AI, predictive analytics, and automation—can be integrated into instructional planning, classroom activities, and administrative workflows. Emphasis will be placed on ethical considerations, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, and equity, to ensure educators can make informed decisions about AI use in their schools.
In addition to technical knowledge, the course supports educators in fostering AI literacy among students, helping them become responsible and critical users of emerging technologies. Through hands-on practice, collaborative reflection, and real-world examples, educators will build the confidence and skills to use AI as a creative and instructional partner.
