Classroom Expectations and Routines
This course is designed to help participants create and implement practical classroom expectations and routines that foster a positive, productive learning environment. Participants will explore strategies for establishing, teaching, and reinforcing routines and behavioral norms while collaborating with learners to build shared ownership of classroom expectations.
Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Develop practical classroom expectations and routines that incorporate both teacher and student perspectives.
- Explain the importance of clearly teaching, modeling, and practicing expectations and routines.
- Recognize the value of engaging all stakeholders in implementing and sustaining classroom expectations and routines.
