In this course, you will explore making the transition from teacher to teacher leader. You will also survey the foundational beliefs of coaching in the context of education, data-driven decisions, assessments, communication, collaboration, and using coaching models.
Objectives
By the end of this course, you will:
- Analyze the characteristics of adult learners to coach more strategically
- Analyze how adult learning styles impact their coaching work
- Define and articulate their coaching role, in general and within their individual contexts
- Analyze and implement effective listening strategies
- Curate course content and resources to create a coaching binder for use with coachees
