I would like to focus more on the aspects of building resiliency and trauma impacted students. That segment about the ACE's blew my mind. Teachers across the nations in some aspect or other witness this collection of experience that will impact our children's lives, if there is no intervention to stop or remediate the disease before it actually takes the lives of students. A vicious cycle it may be or the worst case scenario -death. Dr. Nadine-Burke-Harris's perspective in directly on point. We have the power to be vigilant and be on guard to stop this disease. If trauma is left to itself, it will eat through our society like a cancer. This will impact present and future generations.
